Product spotlight: CloudFlex

Most partners know us for connectivity, voice and networking. But there’s a lot more to Zen than that. In fact, we offer a range of services that you might have never known are available to partners too.

Over the next few months, we’re showcasing some of those services.

This summer, we’re launching CloudFlex, the next-generation of our Zen cloud platform. It’s designed to help businesses run applications, store data and manage workloads in the cloud, while giving you another way to support your customers and broaden technology conversations.

What is CloudFlex?

CloudFlex is our new cloud infrastructure platform, replacing Zen Cloud.

It provides the core cloud services many businesses rely on today, including virtual machines, storage, networking and backup services, all backed by the same support and expertise you already know from Zen.

For your customers, it’s a flexible and reliable platform for their business-critical workloads. For you, it’s another service that can help you support even more customer requirements through a supplier you already trust.

Why are we launching it?

The cloud market has changed a lot over the last few years, with many organisations now reviewing their cloud infrastructure, supplier relationships and long-term technology plans.

We’ve developed CloudFlex using proven open-source technology to give businesses a flexible alternative backed by a UK-based provider that understands their needs and supports them every step of the way.

For you, that creates a new opportunity to have conversations with customers who may be reviewing existing platforms, planning future projects or looking for a different approach to cloud infrastructure.

Proven before launch

Before bringing CloudFlex to market, we’ve tested it with our harshest critic – ourselves.

We’ve already migrated more than 1,000 internal workloads onto OpenStack, giving our teams first-hand experience of running critical services in the new environment and proving the platform at scale before launch.

We’re confident using the platform within our own business, so our customers can be confident too.

And while the technology behind the platform is changing, what customers can expect from us isn’t. They’ll continue to receive the same expert support, trusted relationships and service they already associate with Zen.
