More choice and sharper pricing: updating your Ethernet options

We’ve recently expanded our dedicated Ethernet availability through the CityFibre network to help you give your customers just that. With CityFibre Ethernet, you now have two new distinct options.

A flexible option for variable demand

Ethernet Flex is built for businesses with fluctuating usage. It provides a guaranteed 200 Mbps of bandwidth as standard, with the ability to burst automatically up to 1 Gbps when traffic allows.

This means your customers get the extra capacity when they need it – for things like overnight backups or end-of-month reporting – without permanently committing to a full gigabit service. It’s a highly efficient way to align their connectivity spend with their business needs.

Fully committed gigabit performance

For customers running data-intensive environments or multi-site operations, fully dedicated Standard Ethernet services up to 1 Gbps are available.

Your customers get symmetrical bandwidth, defined repair SLAs, and consistent throughput under sustained load. When downtime or congestion would have a serious operational impact, this level of assurance gives your customers complete peace of mind and protects your reputation as a reliable provider.

Making it easier to quote and win

Expanding our Ethernet footprint is only useful if it’s also easy for you to quote and sell. All CityFibre Ethernet options are now live in the Leased Line Quote Tool (LLQT), complete with discounted launch pricing available until June 2026.

We have also updated the LLQT to automatically support zonal pricing. If you’re quoting for a site in a High Network Reach (HNR) or Central London Area (CLA) postcode, the reduced pricing will show instantly, with no extra steps needed to access these highly competitive rates.

Alongside this, we’ve introduced new lower pricing for ITS circuits, which is also available directly within the portal.
