The latest collaboration means Zen can leverage ITS’s extensive full fibre footprint to offer business-grade connectivity in new geographies. This will further enhance our footprint, providing access to a broader range of business-grade connectivity solutions.
The agreement will unlock two new full fibre products — FibreLight and FibreBright — to our channel partners and will also available to business customers. Channel partners will soon be able to access the products through our Leased Line Quote Tool, and later this year they will also be made available in The Fibre Hub platform.
FibreLight delivers a leased line-type product at great value, offering 100 Mbps right up to 5 Gbps. FibreBright offers a fully uncontended and symmetrical Ethernet leased line service, from 100 Mbps up to 10 Gbps.
The deal also builds on an existing relationship between Zen and ITS, strengthened earlier in 2025, with ITS gaining wider access to our FTTP footprint. This has increased our combined business coverage to around 700 exchange areas.
Our CEO Richard Tang said: “Our partnership with ITS allows us to extend our reach and provide unparalleled connectivity solutions to our channel partners as well as B2B clients, especially in areas where we previously did not have a footprint. We are excited about the opportunities this brings and are confident it will drive growth for both Zen and ITS. I’m particularly happy about this being a reciprocal partnership, with Zen selling services over ITS’s network, and ITS using Zen’s network to provide services where ITS has not yet built network footprint."
Daren Baythorpe, CEO of ITS, added: “This partnership shows two organisations working to deliver greater choice, value, and resilience to the UK business connectivity market. It also reflects the strategic alignment and mutual respect between two businesses committed to innovation, quality, and customer value.
“We’re proud to support their expansion, just as Zen has supported ours. From pioneering network innovations like our 50G-PON trial, to this new wholesale agreement, we’re proving what’s possible when collaboration is underpinned by shared purpose and ambition.”
David Barber, Strategy Director, Zen Internet, said: “This agreement with ITS is a powerful step forward in our mission to deliver greater choice, performance, and value to our channel partners and B2B customers. It’s not just about expanding our footprint, it’s about setting a new standard for what our partners and customers can expect from Zen. With ITS, we’re unlocking new capabilities and geographies, and this is just the beginning. We have more exciting partnerships on the horizon, and together, they’ll help us shape a more connected, competitive future.”
The move is in line with Zen's ambitions to become the UK’s leading alt-net aggregator through The Fibre Hub, offering greater choice to partners and B2B customers.
Our CEO Richard Tang speaks with ITS CEO Daren Baythorpe about their reciprocal partnership. Zen will soon be selling ITS’s B2B network products in both its direct business and through its channel partners via Zen’s recently launched Fibre Hub API and portal.
The ITS network covers nearly 500,000 business premises, which is about a quarter of all UK business premises. Daren talks about the benefits of having Zen as a wholesale customer, and also about the benefits to ITS of becoming a Zen Partner.
