What does it take to be named a 2026 Which? Recommended Provider for Broadband?
Being recognised as the UK's best broadband provider all starts with meeting the strict Which? criteria.
That means fair pricing. It doesn’t matter how good our broadband service is, if our prices are unreasonable, we don’t qualify.
Other criteria we need to meet include signing up for the voluntary Ofcom Auto Compensation scheme, which makes it easier to receive compensation should something go wrong with your service, and the Ofcom Codes of Practice, which means we’re transparent about the internet speed you should be receiving.
Having met those criteria, we also needed to score highly in each of the categories Which? use for scoring the UK broadband market. And for connection speed, connection reliability, customer service, technical support, ease/speed of contact, ease of setup, communication, and value for money – every eligible category – we've scored consistently highly.
