Part fibre broadband uses fibre optic cables for most of the journey to your home, but the final stretch runs over copper telephone lines. This is often called SoGEA broadband (or formerly, FTTC - fibre to the cabinet).
Full fibre - also known as fibre to the premises or FTTP - uses fibre optic cables all the way to your home. Because it doesn't rely on that final stretch of copper, full fibre connections can support faster broadband speeds and aren't affected by the length of a copper line in the same way.
With CityFibre broadband from Zen, you can get speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps, depending on what's available at your address.
