As a valued Zen customer, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to become a member of our Customer Advisory Board. We'd also like to welcome back our existing members. 

Join us for our very first face to face CAB event, for a fun activity-filled morning. 

Hosted by AWS experts, the fun interactive session will run through a cloud migration scenario, that will expose your team to key decision points common in the first two years of cloud adoption. You will practice strategic investment decision making and will be evaluated collectively for a team score. Will you come out on budget or over budget? Each team will have their own facilitator to help guide you through, but the ultimate decisions are in the hands of you and your teammates!

The session is very engaging and invokes a healthy balance of friendly competition and insightful knowledge gained. You will come away with an understanding of the key strategic decisions that your business needs to make in your cloud journey. You will hear shared stories and experiences from peers, understand investment decisions and rationale.

After the session you will get the opportunity to meet key members of the Zen Cloud team, including the Cloud Engineers, Solution Architects and Account Managers. You will have the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have with our panel and share your ideas on future CAB topics.

Paul Stobart, CEO

A CEO's job is not to do everything for everyone, nor is it to issue instructions as to what others should be doing; on the contrary, the greatest CEO's are those who blend skills in coaching, mentoring and counselling, with the critically important tools of listening to, appreciating and asking incisive questions of the people around them.

As CEO at Zen Internet, Paul works closely with Chairman and Founder Richard Tang and their values are very closely aligned. Zen is an organisation that puts people first and aims to provide customers with an exceptional service and in doing business in a sustainable, ethical, honest and transparent manner.

Martin

 

Martin O’Donnell, Managing Director

Martin joined Zen as Head of Managed Services in August 2013 before quickly moving into his current role as Managing Director, Zen Business in October 2014. Martin also sits on Zen's executive board, driving the company's overarching strategy.

Martin is responsible for steering the Zen five year strategy through the business division by developing and growing the corporate business portfolio. From achieving ambitious growth targets and developing and refining the product portfolio to managing a team of consultants, engineers and service specialists, Martin is steering the division through a rapid phase of growth and development in line with Zen's ambitions as a conscientious challenger brand.

John Lyons, Technology Director

 

Tasked with overseeing the next stage of Zen’s technological evolution, John’s priority will be to ensure Zen harnesses technology opportunities across networking, communications and cloud to support the company’s ambition to be an ultrafast pioneer and challenger brand across each of the markets it serves.

Abid Ali, Head of Install Base

Abid rejoined Zen in 2019, having last worked here from 2004-2007. 

He is Head of Sales- Installed Base, which is responsible for our business partnerships across our existing customers.

Abid has held various sales roles in some of the largest Tier 1 telecoms companies, experience of working with both global and EMEA based organisations in a range of industry verticals.

Roisin

 

Roisin Bailey, PR and Content Manager

Roisin joined Zen in April 2019 as PR & Content Manager tasked with building brand awareness and increasing Zen’s share of voice in the press. With over two decades’ international experience on both agency and client side, Roisin has covered the PR beat in property development, trade exhibitions, construction, and now telecommunications. She has a keen eye for generating positive news stories and the elements needed to capture media attention.  

Roisin is a firm believer in the crucial role of content and story telling as part of the marketing mix and has an ability to extract content, case studies and news stories from across the business.

Roisin holds an M.A. in Strategic Communication from University of Central Lancashire.
