Zen Internet Is ISPA’s Best Shared Hosting Finalist

10 July 2009: Zen Internet has been nominated ISPA's 'Best Shared Hosting' Finalist.

The Internet Services Providers' Association (ISPA UK) has been organising the UK Internet Industry Awards since 1999 to herald the best of the Internet industry and to celebrate innovation and best practice.

A full assessment of Zen's Linux hosting services together with technical testing was carried out in order to measure performance including specific measurements of data transfer speed and availability.

Zen has developed its Hosting product offering to significantly increase the storage space and bandwidth that it makes available on its Linux hosting packages. The Bronze package now offers a generous 2GB of web-space and 10GB of bandwidth which compares very favourably with many hosting specialists. Its Silver, Gold and Platinum Linux packages and Windows options have also been subject to significant enhancement.

Zen's shared hosting services are all currently housed in one of two purpose built data centres providing a highly secure environment. Both data centres are linked to Zen's high performance network infrastructure using the best quality hardware available, which has provided the backbone for its success as a broadband ISP.

Zen has recently created a virtual team within Technical Support which is dedicated to supporting Zen's hosting products and which will ensure that customers speak to support staff with an even greater level of experience and specialised knowledge.

We are delighted to have become a finalist for this Hosting award. We are committed to providing our customers with a hosting service that is reliable and provides excellent technical and customer support.

Zen is primarily seen as a Broadband provider but this nomination demonstrates our investment into other complementary products and services, such as Hosting, and that we are committed to expanding our portfolio to meet our customers' requirements now and in the future.

Andrew Saunders, Head of Product Management and Marketing, Zen Internet
