Included with every ADSL account comes 1GB of sub-domain Web space for you to host a Web site on (50MB maximum single file size).
This space can be configured with a sub-domain of your choice which would also be used for your e-mail e.g.
www.mysubdomain.myzen.co.uk

Can I use server-side scripts on my Web space?
No. The Web space can only be used for a basic (static) Web site. HTML Web pages, images, and files can be hosted on our Web server. 1GB of space is provided for this purpose (50MB maximum single file size). The only scripts permitted are those that run on the client (for example, Javascript and Cascading Style Sheets).
Should you need to run your own scripts on the server (php, cgi, asp, FrontPage etc) then you will need to opt for a Web hosting package (see
www.zen.co.uk/hosting/ for details).
Do Zen provide any scripts I can use?
Yes. Zen provide four basic scripts for use with your Web space, these are a Graphical Counter, a Text Counter, a Guestbook Form and a Form-to-e-mail script. Instructions for using these scripts may be found here:
Is there a bandwidth limit?
No. There are currently no bandwidth limits on Web sites hosted on our main Web server.
However, if an individual's usage reaches a level where it may harm service for all users you will receive notification requesting you reduce usage or upgrade to a more suitable Web hosting package.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes. You may not upload individual files larger than 50MB (megabytes).
Do you provide Web statistics?

Can I point a domain at my free Web space?
No. If you require hosting for a domain please see the packages at
www.zen.co.uk/hosting/Can I increase the amount of Web space on my sub-domain Web site?
No. The amount of Web space is fixed at 1GB. If you require additional space then a further 1GB is set up automatically when you subscribe to a Zen ADSL service. This will be of the form
http://www.zen12345.zen.co.uk/. Where
zen12345 is replaced by your Zen ADSL username. This Web space has the same functionality as your sub-domain.
These two sites may not be combined, so content on the
'zen12345' space would need to be referenced as though it were a completely separate Web site.
Details for your 'zen12345' space:
FTP server: ftp.zen.co.uk
Username: Same as your ADSL username WITHOUT @zen
Password: As provided in your Technical Details e-mail.
NOTE: The address of your 'zen12345' space can not be changed.
