Zen Internet is Comms National 'Best Channel ISP' Finalist

Comms National Awards Best Channel ISP 2012These awards are independently judged by a panel of experts to recognise vendors for the service and solutions they offer to channel partners and resellers for the solutions they provide to customers with both categories backed up by testimonials.

Covering all areas of the channel and all business levels, the Awards are intended to reward excellence, inspire companies to improve service levels across the board and recognise the qualities, characteristics and attitudes possessed by people working in the UK ICT channel.

We are delighted to be named as a finalist. By launching a range of new and enhanced services, Zen has given Partners significant cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, leading to increased revenue, decreased risk of customer churn, and an enhanced end user experience.

Zen's Partner Programme has been established with the aim of offering Partners the opportunity to sell a wide range of Internet-based products and services that complement Partners' existing portfolios. Zen is focused on working with Partners who share a desire to provide an excellent end-to-end customer experience, and understand the value of offering reliable, good quality products and services.

Zen's Wholesale Channel Programme is for Partners who are committed to selling Zen's larger and more complex services, such as Leased Lines, IP VPN and Managed Hosting. These Partners will also be responsible for managing their customer relationships including support and billing provision.

Zen's Partner team provide crucial sales support and are able to advise on a range of products and services, provide quotes and proposals, and manage accounts. Partners also have access to a range of support services including channel marketing, customised collateral and marketing tools, pre-sales and technical support.

We have maximised the wide range of support on offer and work very closely with Zen's teams of experts who have assisted us in improving our IT offering to our customer base. This has generated additional profit and aided organisational expansion.

Zen has invested over £1M in the development and rebuild of its Partner Portal. The project which is one of Zen's current top business priorities is focusing on the provision of a tailored suite of self service and management tools e.g. connectivity diagnostics and centralised fault management. Zen regularly runs workshops and training events for Partners to understand and learn more about Zen's products and services, diagnostic processes and sales techniques so that they are better equipped to support their customers in this rapidly evolving marketplace.

Zen is also spending £4m on a new purpose-built, 1,350 square metre Tier 2 data centre at its North West headquarters. The first phase of this was opened at the start of May, giving Zen the capacity not just to deal with increased demand from customers in the region, but provide the facilities that customers across the UK need as they embrace the opportunities of Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud computing.
