Zen Internet awarded Silver in Thinkbroadband Customer Service Awards 2010

3 March 2011: Zen Internet has been awarded Silver in the niche ISP category of Thinkbroadband's Customer Service Awards 2010, adding yet another award to its portfolio.

Thinkbroadband are an independent website dedicated to providing information and news on broadband related matters. Its Customer Service Awards are based entirely on user ratings submitted monthly for broadband service providers, giving a true representation of the satisfaction of users of various services.

They analysed the customer service ratings submitted by all their users from the beginning of 2010 to the end of the year. Zen scored 87% for customer service and 85% for reliability.

When comparing broadband services, the headline 'up to' speed and price are often key considerations, but users should not forget to consider the costs of an unreliable broadband connection, or the time spent trying to fix any problems. All of the top companies in these awards are known to provide excellent customer service and their repeated performance is testament to the continued satisfaction of their user base.

Zen have shown consistent quality in their level of customer service provided to their broadband users and this is recognised by how our readers have voted. We are pleased Zen have been able to maintain this high level in our rankings in recent years and it shows the dedication that staff at the company have for ensuring that both businesses and consumers are well cared for.

At Zen our proposition is reliable and quality internet services combined with excellent customer support to deliver real value for our users. I’m extremely pleased that the hard work and efforts of Zen staff is recognised and valued by our customers. Awards and commendations based on our customers real world experience of using our services are a true measure of the qualities that we aspire to and serve as a guide to what really matters when deciding on something so important as which ISP to use.

Whilst we are disappointed that Zen continues to be excluded from participation in Ofcom’s latest research into broadband speeds. I firmly believe the Thinkbroadband awards are a far more comprehensive, realistic and meaningful measure of ISP performance.
