News In Brief
Zen goes Red for Comic Relief
On Friday 16th March Zen Internet turned its Web site Red to help raise money for Comic Relief on Red Nose day.
The standard Zen green format was discarded on www.zen.co.uk for one day only and the Zen logo was transformed into a red nose which linked through to the Comic Relief donations page; www.rednoseday.com/onlinedonation.
Ian Buckley, Web Marketing Executive, commented;
“Zen has a great sense of corporate and social responsibility shown through our commitment to local charity work .We thought getting involved through our Web site this Red Nose day was a great opportunity and fun way to help increase donations for an important national charity like Comic Relief.”
Zen staff also increased efforts to raise money on the day by turning red themselves, with employees in the office wearing red clothing and donating to Comic Relief.

Domains Renamed
Domain product name change from June 4th 2007.
As from Monday 4th June, Zen Web Hosting will be simplifying the names given to their domain name services. “Domain with DNS” will become “Domain Name” and “Domain Only” will become “Domain Parking”.
The changes come as a result of both feedback internally and from customers, who have highlighted the term “DNS” to be potentially confusing.
Recognising that domain registration is no longer a specialist market, the change aims to simplify the buying process by making the product set more easily recognisable to all potential customers.
For more information on this or any other area of hosting, please visit www.zenwebhosting.com or speak to your Account Manager.
