UK2 Domain Transfer Guide

If you are a customer of UK2 use the guide below to transfer your domains to us.

Please note: If your domain has been with UK2 for less than two years, Uk2 will charge you an to move the domain away from them.

For .uk domains

Start at http://www.uk2.net/move_away/login/

  1. Enter the domain name that you want to move, then the password (this is your account password), and click the 'Log In' button.
  2. Scroll down until you see the box 'Enter Nominet TAG'. In this box, type in 'ZENSYS'. Then click the 'Update Now' button.
  3. Then you will see your domain on the next screen. Click on 'Yes, transfer (name of domain) to Zen Internet' and then fill in the payment form to allow your domain to be transferred.
  4. Confirm your payment and submit.
  5. You will then be presented with a reference number on screen with instructions to print out and fax to UK2.
  6. UK2 may ask additional questions to prove your identity for the transfer.
  7. Wait until you get confirmation from UK2. If you don't hear from them, contact UK2 support to confirm the transfer has happened at http://support.uk2.net/.

Next you will need to order the domain transfer.

Within 48 hours, UK2 should have changed the IPS tag.

For non .uk domains

Start at http://www.uk2.net/move_away/login/

  1. Enter the domain name that you want to move, then the password (this is your account password), and click the 'Log In' button.
  2. Scroll down until you see the box 'Enter Tucows domain'. In this box, type in your domain. Then click the 'Update Now' button.
  3. Then you will see your domain on the next screen. Click on 'Yes, transfer (name of domain) to (name of domain)' and then fill in the payment form to allow your domain to be transferred.
  4. Confirm your payment and submit.
  5. You will then be presented with a reference number on screen with instructions to print out and fax to UK2.
  6. UK2 may ask additional questions to prove your identity for the transfer.
  7. Wait until you get confirmation from UK2 who should now provide you with your auth code. If you don't hear from them, contact UK2 support to confirm the transfer has happened and request your auth code at http://support.uk2.net/.

Next you will need to order the domain transfer.

What happens next?

Once you have placed your order with us you can sign-in to our Customer Portal to track the progress of your order. If you are not already registered with Zen Internet you will need to create an account.
