Fasthosts Domain Transfer Guide

For .uk domain names

Start at http://www.ukreg.com

To transfer a Fasthosts domain name away from UKreg, you'll first need to check if it was initially registered at UKreg or if it was transferred into UKreg from elsewhere.

1. Click on the "Members Login" link at the top of the page.
2. Go to UKreg and select "Configure Domains".
3. Select the domain name you'd like to move and choose "Change IPS Tag".
4. The IPS tag for Zen Internet is 'ZENSYS' enter it here.
5. If the domain name was transferred into UKreg you must also send a fax, on headed notepaper, to UKreg providing the following information:
   • The new IPS tag name
   • The username and password for your UKreg account
   • The domain name
   • The support fax number for UKreg is 0870 888 3555.

Next you will need to order the domain transfer.

For non .uk domain names

Start at http://www.ukreg.com

1. Click on the "Members Login" link at the top of the page.
2. Select "Configure Domains" in the middle of the page.
3. Log into your UKreg account.
4. Select the domain name you wish to unlock.
5. Click "Unlock For Transfer" to see the screen in Fig. A. This does not apply to .eu domains.
6. Click "Confirm".
7. Contact UKreg support and ask them to send you your Auth Code.

Next you will need to order the domain transfer in the Zen Internet customer portal.

What happens next?

Once you have placed your domain transfer order with us you can sign-in to our Customer Portal to track the progress of your order. If you are not already registered with Zen Internet you will need to create an account.
