If you are a customer of 1 and 1 use the guide below to transfer your domain names to us.
For .uk domain names
Start at http://contract.1and1.co.uk
- Log in using your account number and password
- Choose the contract which contains the domain names
- Select whether you want to "Cancel Entire Contract" or "Cancel Selected Domains"
- Choose the "Execute On" for the domain name
- Change the cancellation option to "Change Provider"
- Click "Continue"
- Enter our IPS tag: ZENSYS
- Click "Finish"
- 1 and 1 will send you an email to confirm you are the owner and complete the final transfer
Next you will need to order the domain transfer.
For non .uk domain names
Start at http://contract.1and1.co.uk
- Log in using your account number and password
- Choose the contract which contains the domain names
- Select whether you want to "Cancel Entire Contract" or "Cancel Selected Domains"
- Choose the "Execute On" for the domain name
- Change the cancellation option to "Change Provider"
- Click "Continue"
- Go to the "admin.1and1" control panel (not the "contract.1and1" control panel) and unlock your domain nmae
- Click "domains", then select your domain name and click "info"
- You will then see the Auth Code (which will be called the "EPP" code if your domain name is less than six months old). Make a note of this code
- OpenSRS/TuCows (our domain registrar) will then email you with further instructions on using your Auth Code to transfer your domain name to Zen Internet, so please ensure you check your mail regularly
- REMINDER: please cancel your 1&1 hosting if you are no longer going to use it, otherwise 1&1 will continue to bill you for hosting services.
Next you will need to order the domain transfer in the Zen Internet customer portal.
What happens next?
Once you have placed your domain transfer order with us you can sign-in to our Customer Portal to track the progress of your order. If you are not already registered with Zen Internet you will need to create an account.
