All our routing equipment is of the highest quality, coming from companies such as Juniper, Foundry, RedBack and Cisco. We use multiple transit providers and provide redundant links and equipment wherever possible to avoid any downtime.
Automatic systems constantly monitor our entire network, transit links and servers. In the event of any problem, we have a team of core engineers who are on call 24 hours a day. They are notified automatically by e-mail, SMS text messages and telephone of any problems that occur. Systems are backed up with UPS and generators to avoid problems in the event of power failures.
As a matter of policy, we stick to the following principle:
Use the best equipment, no matter what the cost, and then ensure that redundant kit is available to replace that equipment in the event of a failure.
