Zen plans to buy prestigious new HQ
Zen Internet is excited to reveal its plans to accelerate expansion and create new employment opportunities with the purchase of a prestigious new HQ building early in 2008. The move, which is dependent on the award of a grant from the North West Development Agency and subject to contract, will bring staff from its current three sites to a single location at Holiday House in Sandbrook Park, Rochdale.

PC Pro proves Zen is still Best Broadband ISP
Zen Internet gained a fourth PC Pro Award for Best Broadband ISP at the Science Museum in London last night. With four years in a row of success at these awards, Zen is clearly showing commitment and success in its mission to provide the Best ISP service in the UK.

Zen works to get attention for local animal centre
Cash donation for RSPCA Rochdale and Web site planned

05 November 2007: Zen Internet has offered a cash donation to the Rochdale RSPCA Animal Centre. This will go towards much needed funds to expand the facilities, allowing for more animals to be helped and re-homed. Zen will also be assisting with a new Web site, which will see the introduction of online donations for this regional centre.

Direct Debit Competition Winners Announced

16 October 2007: In April 2007 Zen announced to all its customers that if they converted their payment method from Credit card to Direct debit between April 1st and June 30th, they were automatically entered into a free prize draw to win one of three fantastic prizes.

The competition was a great success and we are delighted to announce that the winner of the 1st prize was Alan Johnson, a long standing Zen customer from Oldham.

Zen Broadband is Political Party Conference choice
Newspaper groups choose Zen again

Zen covered the Internet connectivity for some of the leading newspaper groups present at the political party conferences this autumn. For the second year running, Express Newspapers and Telegraph Media Group used Zen Broadband, and this time news travelled at an even faster rate through the Zen Office packages that offer up to 8Mb download rates and an increased upload speed.

Zen get on the boat to help twins' Olympic bid
Zen Internet is supporting Rochdale twins, Ruth and Lucy Walczak in their bid to be part of an Olympic rowing team. The girls needed funds to buy a new double scull racing boat for training, and following the sponsorship from the Rochdale based company to help secure this, the boat was named Zen.

Zen Broadband Voice offers value calls
New service lets Zen Broadband users talk for less

Zen Internet today announced the launch of Zen Broadband Voice, a product which has been designed to allow customers to make low cost phone calls using their broadband connection. The package includes 1000 minutes of calls to UK landlines for £4.99 (inc VAT) per month, whilst calls to other Zen Broadband Voice users and calls to Zen Internet are completely free of charge.

Zen makes a Mac impact as 'Best Mac-Friendly ISP'
Zen Internet was announced as 'Best Mac-Friendly ISP' at the Macworld Awards, held at the Gibson Hall in London last night. This award was the result of nominations from Macworld readers, reflecting Zen’s success in delivering excellent service levels to Mac users. The Macworld Awards are the established UK event in the Mac calendar, recognising the products and vendors which have made an impact in the Mac industry.

PC Advisor Survey shows Zen delivers on reliability and service
Zen Internet proved successful in the PC Advisor Reader Awards 2007, as the Internet Service Provider (ISP) was named 'Most reliable ISP', 'Best small ISP' and gained the 'Customer service' award. This was part of the results following the 'Best Buy Broadband' survey, conducted by PC Advisor to find out what customers really think about their broadband service.

Zen provides Media connections for Manchester’s Visa Paralympic World Cup

Zen Internet launches Wholesale Voice Service
Zen Internet today announced the launch of Zen Wholesale Voice, their voice offering for customers with their own PBX with SIP interface (usually known as an IP PBX). BBC Watchdog Broadband Survey Results Announced
The results have been published following the BBC's Watchdog Broadband Survey where viewers were invited to rate their broadband provider on customer service, ease of set-up, cancellation, value for money, and reliability of service. Leading UK Internet Service Provider (ISP) Zen Internet, is helping raise money for Comic Relief this Red Nose day by turning its Web site red! The standard Zen green format is being discarded on www.zen.co.uk for one day only and the Zen logo will be transformed into a red nose which will then link through to the Comic Relief donations page, www.rednoseday.com/onlinedonation.
