Oxfam is an independent organisation, registered as a charity, affiliated to Oxfam International, with partners, volunteers, supporters and staff of many nationalities – part of a global movement to build a just and safer world. Oxfam works with others to overcome poverty and suffering.
Oxfam has recently helped those in need in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Georgia, to name but a few, with their specialization in Water and Sanitation, Health promotion, Food Security and Nutrition, Protection and Disaster risk reduction.
