Below is Zen's policy on 999/112 Emergency calls. Please ensure that you are aware of it and you inform all relevant parties
Please ensure that you make suitable provision to carry 999/112 Emergency calls. If an Emergency call is routed across our Voice network, then we will endeavour to connect the call, but we can make no guarantees. If we do carry the Emergency call, then there may be issues with location information and caller display for the Emergency services. You may need to read out your phone number and where you are situated to the operator.
For these reasons, we recommend that you do not route Emergency calls over our Voice network. We would recommend that you set up your equipment to ensure that Emergency calls are routed over the PSTN, thereby ensuring that these calls have the highest chance of connecting possible.
Please ensure that you make all users aware of Zen's stance of 999/112 emergency calls. If you are a partner, please ensure that you tell all of you customers.
