Transfer your Zen Broadband connection for FREE!
Zen Internet has launched ZenADSL Move making it easier for you to transfer your Broadband connection when you move house or business premises.
We are offering to ease the stress of moving premises for loyal customers by waiving the £40* activation fee normally required to set up new Zen Broadband accounts. In addition, Zen will also manage the whole transfer process on your behalf free of charge.
When you move premises, whether it is a home or business move, Broadband accounts cannot be automatically transferred because they are tied to the physical telephone line. Previously, you had to give 14 days notice to cancel your existing account, and on moving into the new building you then had to order a brand new Zen Broadband account and pay the standard activation fee.
To take advantage of ZenADSL Move you need to:
- have a current live Zen Broadband service
- be moving within 30 days
You will need to provide the following information to place an order for ZenADSL Move:
- your current username
- new telephone number
- new address
- your moving date.
To place your ZenADSL Move order, please log into the Customer Portal and complete the ADSL Move wizard. A guide to using this Wizard can be found in this Knowledge Base Article.

We offer a Simultaneous Provide service should you require both your Broadband and your telephone line to be connected simultaneously when you move house.
Important Information
Depending on the circumstances of your home/office move it can take up to two weeks, from the 'move date' that you provide, before the new Broadband service is active. To ensure a smooth transition of your Broadband service to your new location, please provide us with as much notice as possible.
The timeframe depends on the following factors:
- If you are given a new line number at your new location, the ZenADSL Move order is likely to be processed within the standard 5 working day lead time.
- If you are taking the same line number with you to your new location, we will need to cease the old service before BT Wholesale will allow a new Broadband order to be placed on that number. In these circumstances, the lead time for the ZenADSL Move order is usually around 2 weeks.
Please also bear in mind the following:
- There is a limit of one ZenADSL Move order per customer within a 6 month period.
- The ZenADSL Move service is purely for a move of physical premises (including flats/apartments). The ZenADSL Move service does not include transferring services between different telephone lines in the same property.
- The minimum service period of one month will apply to ZenADSL Move orders, as with standard new Zen Broadband orders.
- your billing cycle will continue as normal throughout the move process.
